Alaina Suddeth Suddeth's parents are Kristy Suddeth of Rossville in Georgia and J. J. Suddeth. Her father is a process technician working in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Alaina started to sing at the age of three. After a vacation lasting a whole year singing in the kids choir. She performed in places like restaurants, churches, social gatherings with family, and all within 30 miles of her house. Alaina was just 8 year old when she took home The Southern Stars Pageant's Talent Competition. The winner was selected to perform on the Kids Talent stage at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. In the following years, she performed every year on this stage until she reached 12 when the competition that allowed her to perform at the Festival's main stage the winner. As a ten-year-old she traveled from Florida across the state to Orlando to participate in The American Model and Talent Competition. She beat out over 1,500 kids in the contest to take home the crown. Alaina was a member of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's kids' chorus. Alaina was twelve when she made her first as well as many more trips to Nashville. She sang in Tootsie's and at other local bars in Broadway. Alaina was the winner of the WinniSTAR contest for youth talent in 2009 in Lake Winnepesaukah. She also composed songs such as Leaving and set me free. Alaina got her inspiration to perform through Holly Witherow. Holly was suffering with a brain tumour. Alaina was a CiC's Pizza employee before joining Idol.
